Desert Film Society in Palm Springs, California, is interested in considering the presentation of GREYSCALE at a one time screening to our prepaid membership. It seems to be one our membership would appreciate. May we please borrow a screener? You may also want to consider our audience for a test market screening to learn reactions away from L.A. or N.Y.
Our website will show you the variety of independent and global films we screen. Please keep our society in mind in the future and suggest other films you think would be a good match to our audience. We present cutting edge films that are not yet booked theatrically in Palm Springs, Palm Desert or Rancho Mirage, CA and are not yet on the rental shelves.
Thank you.

Hi Daros Films,
My name is Enrique Huertas. I’m part of a team working on our new website called FilmNet.com.
FilmNet will be a high quality (and FAST) web video platform integrated with a database of indie filmmakers and their films. Think of it as the IMDB of independent and web-published movies, music videos and creators. It will offer some unique tools for collaborating on projects with other filmmakers: finding crew, resources, distribution, etc. There will also be a superior revenue sharing program for all video owners. We’re very excited about the whole thing and I’d like to invite you to be a part of it.
We’re trying to gather videos and people so that when we go live we’ll have a nice user base of talented filmmakers already on the site. If you can help us out by providing your videos (the more the merrier), you’ll be one of the first to have access to the site, even before it’s released in beta. We’ll take care of creating an account and placing your films there. All we need from you is to upload you stuff through FTP.
Please let me know if you’re interested in participating and I’ll get back to you with FTP access info.
Meanwhile, check out our official team blog – The Splice (www.thesplice.com). We write movie reviews, industry articles and document our progress as we develop FilmNet.
Best,
Enrique Huertas

Hey Ryan, I’ve recently moved to the Tulsa area from Northern California and have been trying to connect with local Christian Film Makers. I stumbled onto your site and love the work you are doing “Battlefield”, awesome idea. “Greyscale” looks to be great as well, can’t wait.
Reading your posts I see it’s taking you a while to edit some of this stuff together, I imagine on a tight budget you are working largely on it yourself.
I know, from having done shorts myself in the past, you usually feel more comfortable doing stuff your self then asking someone else to share your vision. However, since I don’t have any extra cash to donate to you, I’d like to offer my services as a donation instead.
I’ve been working with video since 1998 and love to edit. I’ve been running my own digital media business since 2003 and specialize in Motion Graphics, Editing, Video Production, Animation, Graphic Design, and Web Design/Programming.
I’m sure there’s something I can do to help out. I’m just real excited about sharing the word (or Story as you put it) with as many people as possible and I believe I can use my talents to do that. Your about statement really spoke to me.
